REVA SITNER 1922 - 2002 Peacefully on Wednesday, September 18, 2002, Reva Sitner passed away at the Selkirk Mental Health Centre at the age of 80. Reva was predeceased by her parents, Maurice and Rose Sitner; sister Molly Paul; brother-in-law Laivy Paul; as well as a brother who passed away at the age of 21. Reva is survived by niece Penny Paul (Arnie Shachter) of Winnipeg, niece Carla Paul of Minneapolis, MN, niece Marcy Sitner of Toronto, ON, and nephew Gerry (Beatta) Sitner of Toronto. Reva is also survived by various grandnieces and nephews, as well as various other relatives and friends. Reva was born in Poland on August 27, 1922. Reva attended both Aberdeen School and William Whyte School in Winnipeg where she pursued her interest in industrial classes and skills. Due to a health condition, Reva spent the majority of her adult life at Selkirk Mental Health Centre. While at the centre, Reva enjoyed interacting with peers, as well as being active and involved as much as she could. Interment service took place on Thursday, September 19 at Rosh Pina Memorial Park, 2795 Main St.
